Join us in Volckerinckhove to take part in workshops discovering Flanders!
These workshops offer children the opportunity to learn about different themes emblematic of Flanders in a fun and interactive way.
During each session, a specific theme is explored, followed by a creative workshop where children can give free rein to their imagination!
On the programme:
⏩ The Villages of Flanders - Meet on Wednesday 15 April at 2pm
Volckerinchove, Cappellebrouck, Zegerscappel...What do the Flemish names of our villages tell us?
Come and discover their origins in a fun activity. Children can then let their creativity run wild by representing their favourite village in paper quilling.
⏩The Mill - Meet on Wednesday 22 April at 2pm
A horse mill... what is that?
A mill pulled by a horse? A mill installed on its back? Not quite... Something to pique your curiosity!
Join us to discover what this amazing mill really is, how it worked and why it is so special.
After the discovery, it's time to get creative and make your own clay mill.
Group limited to a maximum of 10 children.
Recommended age: 6-11 years old.
Sales close at 4.30 pm the day before.
